How does the automatic cleaning system work?
After the cat leaves and the safety system determines that the unit is clear, the internal litter chamber can rotate to separate clumped waste from reusable clean litter and transfer the waste into the lower collection drawer.

The lower collection drawer can be pulled out for access to the waste liner. Remove and seal the bag according to the product instructions, then install a new liner before returning the drawer.
